Cancellations and refunds, plainly.
How cancelling, rescheduling and refunds work — written to be read before you book, not argued about after.
Before work starts
Quotes are free and carry no obligation — declining one costs nothing, ever. Booked visits can be rescheduled or cancelled without charge with reasonable notice. Where a team has already been dispatched to your address, a call-out charge may apply — and if it does, it will have been stated to you in advance, in writing, not discovered on an invoice.
During larger works
Projects are billed in stages against completed, inspectable work. If a project is cancelled midway, you pay for the stages completed and approved — nothing beyond them. Materials already purchased specifically for your project are chargeable at cost, with receipts. The final payment on any project is held until snagging is cleared, so the balance of power at the end of a job sits where it should: with you.
If something is wrong
The first remedy is the 30-day workmanship guarantee: we return and put it right at no charge. Where we genuinely cannot put right work we were paid for, we refund that work — because keeping money for something we failed to deliver is not a complicated ethical question. Refunds are made to the original payment method, normally within 14 days of agreement.
Contract and AMC clients
Annual plans cancel with 30 days' written notice, and unused planned visits are refunded pro rata. There is no auto-renewal — we ask before the next year starts, every year. Emergency call-outs already used and repair work already delivered are payable in full; everything not yet delivered comes back to you.
