When to call us

Signs your AC needs attention now.

Air conditioning rarely fails without warning. These are the symptoms our technicians see in the weeks before a breakdown — each one is inexpensive to fix on the day it appears.

Cooling has quietly weakened

The room takes longer to reach temperature than it did last year. Usually a dirty coil or falling refrigerant pressure — both cheap now, both compressor-threatening later.

Water dripping or staining a ceiling

A blocked condensate drain. It will not clear itself, and the next stage is a ruined ceiling and a repaint.

A musty smell on start-up

Biological growth on the coil or in the drain pan. This is an air-quality problem, not a cosmetic one, and it responds to a proper deep clean.

Ice on the pipework or indoor unit

Airflow restriction or low refrigerant. Continuing to run the system in this state is how compressors die.

The unit starts, then stops shortly after

Short-cycling — the system protecting itself from a fault. It signals an electrical, sensor or pressure problem that will worsen.

The DEWA bill has crept up

A system working harder for the same result. Dirty coils and ducts routinely add double-digit percentages to running cost.

Rattles, buzzing or a new noise

Loose bearings, a failing fan motor or a contactor arcing. Noise is the cheapest early warning a system gives you.

It has been over a year since a service

In Dubai, twelve months of continuous load is a long service interval. Pre-summer is the moment to correct that.

What's included

Every visit, to the same written standard.

01
Coil and blower cleaning

Indoor and outdoor coils degreased and washed, blower wheel cleaned — the difference between moving air and actually cooling it.

02
Filter service

Filters washed or replaced, and we show you their condition before and after.

03
Refrigerant pressure check

Measured against manufacturer specification. If gas is needed you approve the quantity and cost first.

04
Drain line flush

Condensate lines cleared and tested with water, so July doesn't bring a stained ceiling.

05
Electrical inspection

Connections, contactors and capacitors checked; anything marginal is noted in the report, not silently replaced.

06
Thermostat calibration

Room temperature verified against setpoint; airflow measured at each outlet.

07
Written condition report

Unit-by-unit notes with photographs — what we found, what we did, what to watch.

08
Workmanship guarantee

Thirty days, in writing, on every visit.

Our standard

AC Servicing & Repair, the Xpert Hands way.

Most AC companies in Dubai will send whoever is free, spray the filters, and leave within twenty minutes. The system fails again in August, and the cycle repeats. We built Xpert Hands around the opposite idea: senior people, a documented standard, and accountability that doesn't end when the van leaves.

Our HVAC leads have run plant for hotels and managed villa portfolios. They are employed by us, not subcontracted, and the same technician returns for your follow-up visits so the system's history stays with someone who knows it.

Every job carries a 30-day workmanship guarantee, in writing. If something isn't right, one call brings us back — no debate, no charge.

In practice that means the guarantee is printed on your invoice with the date, the scope of work and the number to call. No proof-of-purchase hunting, no debate about what was agreed — the document in your hand is the agreement. It's a small piece of paper that changes the relationship: we return because we said we would, in writing, not because you argued well.

How it works

Four steps. No surprises at any of them.

01Tell us about the system

Units, symptoms, photographs if you have them. Two minutes online, or a phone call if you prefer.

02Fixed quote, before we start

A senior technician reviews the details and confirms a price. No call-out surprises.

03The visit

Uniformed technicians, dust sheets down, shoes covered. Work is completed to the fifteen-point standard.

04Report and guarantee

You receive the written report and the thirty-day guarantee before we leave.

Tell us what you need. Properly.

The more you tell us, the more precise your quote — and the fewer questions we need to ask when we call. Photographs are welcome; so is a one-line summary if that's all you have time for.

Your details go to our booking team and nowhere else. A specialist replies within fifteen minutes during the day, and first thing in the morning if you write overnight. Genuinely urgent? Call — that reaches someone straight away.

  • Fixed quote before any work is booked
  • No call-out charge for quoting
  • 30-day written workmanship guarantee

What happens after you press send: your request lands with our booking team, not a call centre queue. A specialist who actually knows this work reads the details, checks them against your photographs and notes, and prepares a written quote — itemised, fixed, and valid whether you book this week or next month. If anything is unclear they ask before quoting, not after arriving. You'll hear from us by phone or WhatsApp within fifteen minutes during the day. Overnight messages are answered first thing — if it cannot wait, call instead and a specialist picks up. There is no obligation at any point: many clients use the quote to sanity-check another provider's price, and we're comfortable being the benchmark.

Senior people on every job — and every commitment in writing.

We won't show you invented star ratings. What we'll show you instead: a fixed quote before work starts, a thirty-day workmanship guarantee you hold in writing, and specialists who put their name on the job. If that standard slips, you have it on paper — not our word for it.

Worth knowing

Air conditioning in Dubai: what actually matters.

Why AC fails in August, and why it's decided in April

Almost every August breakdown is visible in April. Falling refrigerant pressure, a coil furred with dust, a drain line half-blocked with slime — none of these stop a system in mild weather, so they go unnoticed until the first week of sustained 45-degree load, when the weakest component gives up alongside everyone else's. That is why emergency callouts cluster brutally in midsummer, and why a proper pre-summer service in March or April is the single highest-return hour of maintenance a Dubai property buys all year.

Servicing versus regassing: don't buy the wrong one

Refrigerant is not a consumable. A system that needs gas every year has a leak, and topping it up without tracing the leak is renting cooling by the month. A genuine service measures pressure against the manufacturer's specification, and if it's low, finds out why before adding anything. Be wary of any visit that reaches for the gas bottle in the first ten minutes — it's the AC trade's most reliable sign that you're buying a symptom treatment, repeatedly.

What a fifteen-point service actually covers

The substance of a real service is unglamorous: coils degreased so heat can actually transfer, blower wheels cleaned so air actually moves, condensate drains flushed and tested with water, electrical connections checked for the heat damage Dubai summers inflict on contactors, thermostat readings verified against a real thermometer. Twenty minutes with a filter hose does none of this — which is why the twenty-minute service is cheaper, and why it costs more by September.

Ducted, split or VRF: maintenance differs

Wall splits are simple and cheap to maintain but multiply — a villa may run ten of them, and they should be serviced together, not unit by unit as each fails. Ducted systems hide their problems in the ceiling: dirty ducts, crushed flexibles and failed dampers show up as one hot room and a rising DEWA bill long before anything 'breaks'. VRF systems are efficient and unforgiving — they need technicians who genuinely know them, because errors are expensive at diagnosis and catastrophic at repair.

The signs worth acting on early

Water where it shouldn't be is a blocked drain about to meet a ceiling. A musty smell on startup is biological growth on the coil — an air-quality issue, not a cosmetic one. Ice on pipes means a refrigerant or airflow fault that will kill the compressor if ignored. Short bursts of cooling that stop are a system protecting itself. All four are inexpensive to fix on the day they appear and expensive a month later; none of them improve on their own.

AC Servicing & Repair in Dubai
Before you ask

Straight answers to the usual questions.

These are the questions our booking team hears most, answered the way we'd answer them on the phone. If yours isn't here, the fastest route is WhatsApp — a specialist replies within minutes, and you'll get a straight answer rather than a sales script. Nothing below is small print; everything stated here is what the written quote and the invoice will say too, because a company that answers plainly before the job is far more likely to behave plainly during it.

How quickly can you attend?
For genuine emergencies — flooding, no power, a failed system in summer — our urgent line reaches a specialist directly and we move as fast as we can get to you. Scheduled visits are booked to a slot you choose, and we keep it.
Is the price genuinely fixed?
Yes. You approve a written quote before work begins. If we find something unexpected, work pauses until you've approved the addition — the original price never quietly grows.
Do you service central and ducted systems?
Yes — packaged units, ducted splits, VRF and chilled-water systems, for villas, apartments and commercial premises.
What if the fault returns after the visit?
Call us. The thirty-day workmanship guarantee covers a return visit at no charge.
Can you take over regular servicing?
Most clients move to an annual plan after the first visit — two or three scheduled services a year with priority emergency response. Ask for AMC pricing with your quote.
