When to call us

Signs it is time to replace rather than repair.

Repair is usually the right answer — until it is not. These are the points at which continuing to repair costs more than replacing.

Repairs are becoming annual

Two or more significant repairs in consecutive years usually means the system is past its economic life.

The unit is over ten years old

Efficiency has declined and parts availability begins to work against you.

It needs gas every season

A leak that has not been traced. Repeated regassing is renting cooling by the year.

Cooling costs keep climbing

Older non-inverter units run at full power constantly. The efficiency gap against modern inverters is substantial in this climate.

Some rooms never cool properly

Frequently an original sizing error rather than a fault — no amount of servicing fixes undersized capacity.

A compressor has failed

The most expensive component. At that point replacement economics usually beat repair.

You are renovating anyway

Pipework and drainage are accessible now and expensive to reach later.

The system is loud enough to notice

Modern inverter units are dramatically quieter — often the change owners appreciate most.

What's included

Every visit, to the same written standard.

01
Load calculation, not guesswork

Capacity derived from room volume, glazing, orientation and use. Oversized systems short-cycle and dehumidify poorly; undersized ones never stop running.

02
Honest equipment advice

We recommend by suitability and parts availability in the UAE, and explain the trade-offs rather than steering you to one brand.

03
Correct pipework and insulation

Line sizing, flare quality and full insulation — the details that decide whether a system leaks refrigerant in year three.

04
Drainage designed to fall

Condensate routed with proper gradient and testing. Most 'leaking AC' problems are drainage that was never right.

05
Electrical supply verified

Circuit capacity and isolation checked before commissioning, not assumed.

06
Vacuum and commissioning

System evacuated properly, charged to specification and performance-tested with readings recorded.

07
Clean, protected installation

Dust sheets, tidy cable and pipe routing, debris removed. Your home stays a home.

08
Documentation and warranty support

Commissioning readings, manufacturer warranty registration, and our workmanship guarantee in writing.

Our standard

AC Installation & Replacement, the Xpert Hands way.

The most common air-conditioning mistake in Dubai is capacity chosen by habit — matching whatever was there before, or rounding up 'to be safe'. An oversized system cools the air quickly, switches off before it has removed humidity, and leaves a room that is cold and clammy while cycling itself to an early failure. Getting the calculation right costs an hour at survey and pays for the life of the equipment.

The second mistake is installation quality on equipment that was well chosen. Flare joints, line insulation, vacuum time and drainage gradient are invisible on day one and decide everything afterwards. We record commissioning readings and hand them over, because a system that was installed properly has nothing to hide in its numbers.

Every job carries a 30-day workmanship guarantee, in writing. If something isn't right, one call brings us back — no debate, no charge.

In practice that means the guarantee is printed on your invoice with the date, the scope of work and the number to call. No proof-of-purchase hunting, no debate about what was agreed — the document in your hand is the agreement. It's a small piece of paper that changes the relationship: we return because we said we would, in writing, not because you argued well.

How it works

Four steps. No surprises at any of them.

01Survey and calculation

We measure the rooms and assess the existing installation before recommending anything.

02Options and a fixed quote

Two or three suitable options with the reasoning, then a written price including removal and disposal.

03Installation

Old equipment removed, new system installed to specification with the site protected throughout.

04Commission, document, guarantee

Performance tested with readings recorded, then handover with warranty and guarantee documentation.

Tell us what you need. Properly.

The more you tell us, the more precise your quote — and the fewer questions we need to ask when we call. Photographs are welcome; so is a one-line summary if that's all you have time for.

Your details go to our booking team and nowhere else. A specialist replies within fifteen minutes during the day, and first thing in the morning if you write overnight. Genuinely urgent? Call — that reaches someone straight away.

  • Fixed quote before any work is booked
  • No call-out charge for quoting
  • 30-day written workmanship guarantee

What happens after you press send: your request lands with our booking team, not a call centre queue. A specialist who actually knows this work reads the details, checks them against your photographs and notes, and prepares a written quote — itemised, fixed, and valid whether you book this week or next month. If anything is unclear they ask before quoting, not after arriving. You'll hear from us by phone or WhatsApp within fifteen minutes during the day. Overnight messages are answered first thing — if it cannot wait, call instead and a specialist picks up. There is no obligation at any point: many clients use the quote to sanity-check another provider's price, and we're comfortable being the benchmark.

Worth knowing

Buying air conditioning in Dubai, sensibly.

Capacity: the decision everything else depends on

Air-conditioning capacity should be calculated, not estimated. A room's requirement depends on its volume, how much glass it has and which way that glass faces, how well the building is insulated, and how many people use it. In Dubai, west-facing glazing alone can change the answer substantially. Systems chosen by matching the previous unit inherit that unit's mistakes, which is how a room ends up permanently uncomfortable while everyone blames the equipment.

Why bigger is not safer

An oversized system reaches the thermostat setpoint fast and shuts down before it has run long enough to remove humidity. The result is the specific discomfort of a cold, damp room — and a compressor starting and stopping far more often than it was designed to, which is the fastest way to shorten its life. Correct sizing produces longer, gentler cycles, drier air and lower running cost.

Inverter versus conventional

Conventional compressors run at full power or not at all. Inverter compressors vary their speed, holding temperature steadily at a fraction of the energy once the room is cool. In a climate where systems run for months continuously, that difference compounds into real money, alongside quieter operation and less temperature swing. For most Dubai properties the payback case for inverter equipment is straightforward.

Installation quality outlives brand choice

A premium unit installed carelessly will underperform a mid-range unit installed well. The determining details are unglamorous: correctly sized and properly flared refrigerant lines, complete insulation on both lines, adequate vacuum before charging, accurate charge weight, and condensate drainage with genuine fall. None are visible at handover. All of them decide whether you are calling someone in year three.

What to ask before you sign

Ask how the capacity was calculated and to see the working. Ask whether removal and disposal of the old equipment is included. Ask what the commissioning readings will be and whether you will receive them. Ask who registers the manufacturer warranty. A supplier comfortable with those four questions is usually a supplier whose installations do not come back — and the questions cost you nothing to ask.

AC Installation & Replacement in Dubai
Before you ask

Straight answers to the usual questions.

These are the questions our booking team hears most, answered the way we'd answer them on the phone. If yours isn't here, the fastest route is WhatsApp — a specialist replies within minutes, and you'll get a straight answer rather than a sales script. Nothing below is small print; everything stated here is what the written quote and the invoice will say too, because a company that answers plainly before the job is far more likely to behave plainly during it.

Should I repair or replace?
We will tell you honestly, with the numbers. As a guide: a unit over ten years old facing a major component failure is usually a replacement; a younger system with a traceable fault is usually a repair. We quote both where both are viable.
How do you decide what capacity I need?
From a load calculation — room dimensions, glazing area and orientation, insulation and how the space is used. Not from the size of the old unit, which may itself have been wrong.
Which brands do you install?
We work with the major manufacturers available in the UAE and recommend based on suitability, parts availability and warranty support. We are not a single-brand dealer, which is why the advice can be neutral.
How long does installation take?
A single split replacement is typically a day. A full villa is planned over several days, sequenced so you are not without cooling overnight.
Do you remove the old equipment?
Yes — removal, responsible disposal and site clean-up are included in the quoted price, not added afterwards.
