Resin floors that bond because the slab was tested.
Epoxy and polyurethane floors for garages, plant rooms, kitchens and warehouses — ground back and moisture-tested first, because resin fails on damp concrete no matter how well it is applied.
- Slab moisture-tested before quoting
- Mechanically ground, never just cleaned
- System chosen for the actual traffic

Signs a resin floor is failing.
Resin floors give clear warnings, and most of them point at preparation or moisture rather than the coating itself.
Bond failure — moisture beneath or inadequate mechanical preparation. Recoating over it will fail the same way.
Vapour pressure from a damp slab pushing upward. The slab needs addressing, not the topcoat.
Standard epoxy under UV. Predictable, and solved with a polyurethane topcoat.
Slab movement coated over. Joints and cracks need treating before, not sealing under.
No anti-slip aggregate, or it has worn. Correctable with a new topcoat graded for the use.
Missing coving and standing water at the junction working into the system.
System too light for the actual traffic. The specification, not the application, was wrong.
Chemical attack on a system not rated for what is being spilled on it.
Every visit, to the same written standard.
The slab checked for residual moisture before anything is quoted — the single most common cause of resin failure.
Diamond grinding or shot blasting to open the surface, because resin bonds to profile, not to a clean floor.
Cracks cut, filled and bridged, and movement joints carried through rather than coated over.
Including damp-tolerant primers where the slab needs them, specified from the test result.
Self-levelling, flake broadcast or heavy-duty PU chosen for the traffic, chemicals and temperature.
Aggregate graded into the topcoat for wet areas and ramps, balanced against cleanability.
Coved upstands and falls to gullies in kitchens and plant rooms, so washing down works properly.
The system, the coats applied and the preparation method, recorded in writing.

Epoxy & Resin Flooring, the Xpert Hands way.
Resin flooring is a preparation trade wearing a coatings costume. Where it peels, blisters or lifts in sheets, the cause is almost always a slab that was damp, or polished rather than ground.
So we test moisture and grind mechanically before quoting a finish, and we say no to floors that are not ready rather than take the job and the blame.
In practice that means the scope of work, the date and the number to call are printed on your invoice. No debate about what was agreed — the document in your hand is the record. Paperwork sounds unglamorous, but it is what accountability actually looks like: what we quoted, what we did, and how to reach us, all in writing.
Four steps. No surprises at any of them.
Slab moisture, existing coatings, cracks and how the floor is actually used.
The system, the finish, the slip rating and the downtime, written down before work begins.
Grind, repair, prime and apply in coats, with cure times respected rather than compressed.
Cured before traffic returns, with cleaning and aftercare explained.
Tell us what you need. Properly.
The more you tell us, the more precise your quote — and the fewer questions we need to ask when we call. Photographs are welcome; so is a one-line summary if that's all you have time for.
How we handle your details is set out in our privacy notice. A specialist replies within fifteen minutes during the day, and first thing in the morning if you write overnight. Genuinely urgent? Call between 08:00 and 20:00 — that reaches someone straight away.
- Fixed quote before any work is booked
- No call-out charge for quoting
- Written summary of every completed job
What happens after you press send: your request lands with our booking team, not a call centre queue. A specialist who actually knows this work reads the details, checks them against your photographs and notes, and either prepares a written quote — itemised, fixed, and valid whether you book this week or next month — or, where the job needs a look first, arranges a visit and quotes after it. If anything is unclear they ask before quoting, not after arriving. You'll hear from us by phone or WhatsApp within fifteen minutes during the day. Messages that arrive overnight are answered first thing in the morning. There is no obligation at any point: many clients use the quote to sanity-check another provider's price, and we're comfortable being the benchmark.
Senior people on every job — and every commitment in writing.
We won't show you invented star ratings. What we'll show you instead: a fixed quote before work starts, a documented visit you hold in writing, and specialists who put their name on the job. Everything we agree is on paper — not our word for it.

For villas and commercial premises we run annual maintenance contracts with scheduled visits and priority response. Ask for an AMC proposal with your quote and we'll price both.
Resin floors: what decides success.
Moisture in the slab beats every product
Concrete holds water, and a sealed resin layer gives it nowhere to go. The vapour pressure that builds underneath will lift even a well-applied coating, in sheets.
A moisture test takes minutes. Skipping it is why some floors fail within months while the same product elsewhere lasts for years.
Preparation means grinding, not cleaning
Resin bonds mechanically, into the profile opened up by diamond grinding or shot blasting. A floor that has merely been washed, or acid-etched, has no key for the coating to hold.
If a quote does not describe how the slab will be prepared, it is not a quote for a floor that lasts.
The system should match the abuse
A villa garage, a commercial kitchen and a warehouse aisle punish a floor in completely different ways — point loads, hot water and chemicals, or constant wheeled traffic.
One product does not serve all three. Specifying by use rather than by habit is most of the decision.
UV and epoxy are not friends
In sustained sun, standard epoxy yellows and chalks. It is a cosmetic failure rather than a structural one, but it is very visible and entirely predictable.
Outdoors and in bright rooflit spaces, a polyurethane topcoat holds colour. It costs more and it is the right answer.
Details decide whether it can be cleaned
Coved upstands at walls, correct falls to gullies and sealed junctions are what make a kitchen or plant room floor washable rather than merely coated.
Without them, water sits at the wall line and works into the edge of the system — which is where resin floors usually start to fail.

Straight answers to the usual questions.
These are the questions our booking team hears most, answered the way we'd answer them on the phone. If yours isn't here, the fastest route is WhatsApp — between 08:00 and 20:00 a specialist replies within minutes, and you'll get a straight answer rather than a sales script. Nothing below is small print; everything stated here is what the written quote and the invoice will say too, because a company that answers plainly before the job is far more likely to behave plainly during it.
Why did my last epoxy floor peel?
Can you epoxy over an existing coating?
Is epoxy suitable outdoors?
How long before I can use the floor?
Can you make it non-slip for a kitchen?
Managing property, not just living in one?
